A One Day Workshop organized by Onio Design in association with the
Pune Design Festival and the India Design Festival
India has seen a rapid change in the past couple of years. We believe that Social Trends and Cultural Insights are becoming the key to innovation today, especially in the emerging markets like India. Increasingly, trends thinking is finding its use in deciding future strategy of businesses and developing new products and interactions.
Objectives:
- Understanding Trends and how they can be leveraged in product innovation
or brand strategy?
- Understand difference in Trend Spotting, Fashion trends and Social Trends
- Consumer Segmentation and Trends mapping
- What are the Trends for 2009-2010?
- Hands-on workshop on Trends and Application.
Agenda:
The day will be facilitated by Mr. Manoj Kothari, who is the Founder director and principal strategist at Onio Design. Manoj has lead hundreds of innovation assignments over last decade for Indian and foreign clients. He is an alumnus of IIT Bombay and NID Ahmedabad.
- -The first half of the day would consist of an elaboration of Trends for India 2009-10, followed by a presentation on a unique consumer segmentation methodology for India, developed by Onio.
- Post lunch will be an interactive workshop which will focus on the application of trends and segmentation in order to give the participants a comprehensive knowledge about using the same in their respective industries.
