Recent Products from Onio Design under Technology Innovation Portfolio

Soon after the Award Winning Hospital Bed Design, it was turn for the launch of products for DRDO. With the collaboration with DRDO & Electronics Industry, Onio Design has developed a series of products under Onio’s Technology Application and Productization Initiative.

The products were launched and demonstrated to the focussed audience at the recent Symposium on ‘Robotics and Autonomous Vehicles’ at DRDO Labs, Pune (7 & 8 Nov, 2008).

Daksh: Remotely Operated All-Terrain Vehicle, with Manipulator.

Onio team was instrumental in designing various products under this system, including

- User Control Station

- Carrier Vehicle

- Special Accessories

Robo-station: Robotic Trainer Platform

This is an open-application robotic platform, suitable for training and testing of robotic applications be researchers, students and developers. This platform has universal capabilities of mobility, remote-controller operation and is capable of working with variety of payloads/ attachments. This can be developed into variants for many applications and situations.

Remote-pack: Wearable Controller

As back-pack mounted remote controller unit that can be adopted and customised for variety of application for remote monitoring and controlling. Ergonomic and comfortable design with broad range of applications is the key characteristic of this product.

Third Eye: Remotely operated Surveillance System

A complete system with remote cameras and controller consoles, that can be a quickly deployed without any cable laying and power access. Ideal for security groups on the move, for event managers and for large area monitoring. The products with their design and demonstration were the point of attraction at the exhibition venue.
